Burgerlich
“No ordinary hamburger” – this the motto of Bürgerlich, which opened in late 2014 in Hamburg’s city centre. Sustainability, quality and, above all, home-made is the claim of this establishment. The idea came from two catering professionals from Hamburg, who have a long track record in the restaurant business. The Bürgerlich attaches great importance to sourcing ingredients and packaging materials from sustainable raw materials.

Peter Pane
New restaurant, same owner: Patrick Junge opened the burger bar "Peter Pane" in the former "Hans im Glück" and built his own burger grill chain out of it. Altogehter there are seven Peter Pane restaurants in Hamburg. The regional ingerdients, unique burgers, fresh salads and fizzy cocktails are worth a visit.

Otto's Burger
This small establishment at the beginning of the Lange Reihe has a few tables inside the restaurant and a lovely terrace to sit and watch the world go by. Otto’s delicious burgers are prepared swiftly with fresh beef, Brioche buns, house-made smoky mayonnaise and lots of love.

Dulf's Burger
This burger bar in Winterhude is quite small and therefore somewhat confined; so it is recommended to take your burger with you, or come in the summer when the small terrace offers an additional dining area. Gourmets are drawn to Dulf's Cipriani burger with Wagyu beef, blue cheese and truffle mayonnaise. Classic burgers ranging from cheese to chicken are also on offer here, and of course Dulf’s home-made garlic, BBQ and truffle dips.

Goldburger
Organic quality burgers from free-range cattle: Goldburger offer tasty burgers while at the same time promoting conscious meat consumption. The turquoise-white food truck is a restored classic vehicle. Inside the van you will find three friendly ladies frying at record speed, keeping the crowd of people in front of the booth happy.

This place has the look of an authentic American sports bar. Tip: the burgers are great here, but make sure to try the chili-cheese fries, they are fantastic. The menu also includes a wide range of cocktails, which you can have at a bargain price during happy hour.

The Bird
According to staff, this burger bar is packed around the clock seven days a week, so be sure to reserve a seat. The hand-cut fries are well worth trying, and the toastie as burger bun is rather unconventional. It is best to visit The Bird hungry – otherwise you will leave quite a bit of food over on your plate.

Hatari Pfälzer Stube
Rustic with lots of dark wood: the Hatari lives up to the proverb “eccentricities create character”.
