Launched in 2014, the “Hamburg News” business portal features daily news on topical business issues from the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. The portal, which offers content in both German and English, provides a general overview of the latest business news as well as in-depth information on topics relating to the economic clusters of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. This new, innovative format was jointly developed by Hamburg Marketing GmbH and the HWF Hamburg Business Development Corporation.

Hamburg News showcases the diversity of Hamburg as a business location, e.g. in the areas of renewable energies, trade & finance, healthcare & life sciences, port & logistics, aviation, as well as media, IT, the creative industries and tourism. The website offers information on initiatives, developments and trends relating to Hamburg as a business location. All contributions are researched and composed by the portal’s own editorial team. As well as being present on XING, LinkedIn and Twitter, Hamburg News also issues a weekly newsletter to keep its audience up to date.
