This is the slogan for the joint Hamburg stand of the Hamburg Tourism Board and 77 partners at this year’s ITB Berlin. The joint Hamburg stand at ITB provides businesses with the opportunity to be part of Hamburg’s presentation (Hall 6.2 A, Stand 102). And all those who won’t be able to attend this year’s ITB in person can still follow the events at the Hamburg stand via television and radio as North German broadcaster NDR will be on site throughout the three trade visitors’ days. In addition, there will be an exciting programme that includes e.g. live music performances, a “living room concert” on Wednesday evening as well as various highlights relating to the focal topic “The good life”. The Hotel Management School Hamburg will also be present at ITB Berlin, with students from the Catering Management department once again being in charge of food and beverages at the Hamburg stand.

Like hardly any other city, Hamburg is able to reconcile supposed opposites in the most natural, effortless way – whether it is tradition and modernity, or high culture and off-scene. In the Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the raw and the beautiful are not just dwelling side by side, but are in fact constituting elements of the unparalleled charm that is so typical of Hamburg.

The Hamburg-programme at ITB 2018

Each year, Hamburg experts, partners, media representatives as well as trade visitors and end customers gather at ITB Berlin, and the Hamburg stand serves as the central meeting point for trade fair participants and visitors alike. This is the place where programme items can be viewed, where the Hamburg Tourism Board provides insights into industry news, products and services, where interviews are conducted and cooperation agreements are sealed. And of course this is also the place for friendly banter, networking and meetings. Also at this year’s event, 360° glasses will provide guests to the stand with one-of-a-kind perspectives on Hamburg.
