Press services: Overview

Welcome to our Press & Media pages

We hope you are keeping well, and we are happy you have found your way to our press and media pages. As you will certainly know, the ongoing Corona pandemic is affecting our work too. At this point in time, tourist trips to Hamburg are not possible.
Just like everywhere else in Germany, there are far-reaching contact restrictions as well as major restrictions in public spaces: cultural and leisure facilities, restaurants, cafés, bars and pubs, music clubs as well as service and entertainment facilities are temporarily closed, and there are no events taking place.

Thus, any information provided in the press section refers to the situation prior to – and hopefully after – the current shutdown. If you are doing research for editorial coverage, we would ask you to kindly contact us directly. Moreover, we would recommend that you double-check any information prior to publishing to ensure that you are up-to-date on the current situation in Hamburg. We will be happy to assist you here.

All press releases, features and dossiers from the fields of tourism, business, culture and city life are available for free editorial use after consultation with us. Pictures, videos and footage from our Media Server are available for free editorial use after accepting the relevant terms and conditions for media representatives and bloggers.

Meanwhile, we would like to wish you and yours a happy holiday and a healthy new year.

The Media Relations team.
