UEFA EURO 2024

The soccer world as a guest in Hamburg
The 2024 European Football Championship will be held in Germany for the first time and Hamburg will be one of ten host cities. Four preliminary round matches and one quarterfinal of UEFA EURO 2024 will be played in the Hanseatic city.
Before the ball starts rolling on June 14, 2024, the soccer world will be looking to Hamburg on December 2, when the "Final Draw", the group draw for the European Championship, will take place at the Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall.
Hamburg Marketing GmbH (HMG) is responsible for the development and implementation of a marketing and communications campaign to raise Hamburg's profile and promote its image on the occasion of UEFA EURO 2024. The aim of the campaign and its implementation is to raise Hamburg's profile in selected markets internationally, to sharpen Hamburg's brand profile and to generate anticipation among Hamburg residents and in the metropolitan region for UEFA EURO 2024 and, in particular, for the games in Hamburg.
Hamburg Marketing GmbH will use the group draw to raise the city's profile nationally and internationally and to arouse the public's curiosity. This will be done by staging the city with strong images and will be the prelude to an international campaign for the games in the Hanseatic city in Hamburg's target markets.
